About Benevolent Anarchy
Benevolent Anarchy is a solo independent game studio in Stockholm, building games with clear boundaries and a point of view.
Small on purpose
Benevolent Anarchy makes games at a scale where creative decisions can remain personal and responsibility cannot disappear into a committee. That means slower announcements, fewer promises and room to change direction while a project is still finding its honest form.
The studio is currently working on How to Wait for the Bus and The Pareto Fix.
The principles
- Make finite experiences rather than endless obligations.
- Respect players’ time, attention and ability to make informed choices.
- Avoid dark patterns, artificial scarcity and fear-of-missing-out mechanics.
- Announce details when they are useful and sufficiently certain.
- Keep the work small enough to care for properly.
